How much does it cost to attend?These members-only events are free to attend. Memberships are $79 and $99, both including a year of unlimited digital access and events. The difference is in starting credits. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee—if you're not satisfied, we'll refund you.

What to expect during the first event?First Half: 45 Minutes (Guided Conversations): Think speed dating – but for a dog sitting swap! Here’s how it works: Personal Instructions: Just show up and follow our simple steps sent to your phone. We’ll guide you through everything. Guided Conversations: Each round, enjoy fun prompts to spark lively chats. Pro Tip: You’ll have multiple, short(ish) conversations, so skip the formalities! Dive into engaging, in-depth discussions with the prompts we provide. Savor each conversation – regardless of the outcome! Second half: 45 Minutes (Social and Mingling): Use this time to mingle and connect with any dog parents you haven’t met yet. It’s your chance to continue those intriguing conversations or start fresh ones!

What if I am shy?All the conversations are guided. We have designed prompts to help you navigate through your discussions smoothly. We understand! We believe face-to-face interactions are the best and most efficient way because: Vibe Check: You want to meet the person who will take care of your dog to build trust. Dog Check: It's essential to see if your dog gets along with their dog.

What if I couldn't find a match?We match you with at least 5 other dog parents, so the odds of finding a dog-sitting swap are pretty good! While the decision to look after your dog is ultimately up to the other pawrents, and we can't guarantee results, we believe in the power of face-to-face connections. Enjoy meeting other dog parents and making new friends!

Can I bring a plus one?Yes, you can bring a plus one. But no kids, please, as some dogs in the park might be reactive to children.

What if I am unhappy with the event?If you attended the event and are unhappy with the outcome, simply contact us, and we will issue a refund!

What if my dog has serious behavioral issues?Unfortunately, this event is designed for friendly dogs as you will interact with other dogs and dog parents. We may host some events for reactive dogs in the future.

What's the cancellation/no-show policy?Due to the nature of our events, every turnout is critical to the success and experience of all participants. We do not provide refunds, and cancellations are non-refundable.

How do I join?Please submit your application here. Pawrents reserves the right to reject any membership applications to ensure a secure and trusted environment for our members.

How does the credit system work?You'll earn 1 credit each day you host a dog. You can swap with the same dog parent. Or you can host one dog to earn credits and request boarding with another dog parent.

What kind of background check does Pawrents conduct before swaps?We conduct a criminal record background check. There is no impact to your credit score as we do not ask for your SSN. If you don't have any criminal record, we will receive an empty report. If you have any criminal record, we will receive a list of records that show the offense type and charges filed Dates.

What do I do if I couldn't find a match?We have built a thriving community, and match rates have been pretty amazing. However, since the decision to look after your dog ultimately rests with other pawrents, we cannot guarantee results.We encourage you to actively engage with our online community and attend in-person events to increase your match rate.

What's the Pawrents cancellation policy?After a boarding request is confirmed, sitters can withdraw their help without penalty up to 7 days before the travel date. However, if cancellation occurs within 7 days of the travel date, sitters will incur a penalty of 5 credits. We will try our best to find our dog parents an alternative. If we can't find any alternative, the dog parent will receive all credits back, plus 5 credits for future use as our apology. Dog parents can withdraw their request without penalty up to 7 days before the travel date. However, if cancellation occurs within 7 days of the travel date, dog parents won't receive a refund and will lose 50% of the credits. The sitter will receive 50% of the credits to compensate for their preparation.

How much does it cost to board my dog?No nightly fees here! Just pay the flat yearly membership fee and swap dog sitting as much as you want.

What if I don't have enough credits?Upon purchasing your membership, you'll receive a starting balance of 2 or 5 credits. Hosting earns credits, while boarding costs credits. Premium members can go negative once per year. While our main focus is on dog-sitting swaps, we understand that unforeseen situations may arise, and you may need urgent credits. Additional credits can be purchased at $30 per credit.

We view the risk profile of attending an event as similar to that of going to a public dog park. However, we do not own or operate the venues where our events are held.
While Pawrents coordinates to maintain a safe environment to the best of our ability, the company cannot guarantee 100% safety when using its service. By using Pawrents, you will interact with other participants face-to-face, and potentially interact with non-participants.
Under no circumstances will Pawrents or its affiliates be liable for any damages or harm that may occur to the participant through its services or by any associated activity, such as driving to the park, etc. Pawrents assumes no responsibilities whatsoever for any damages caused to Participants, Non-Participants, Staff, or any Affiliate, of or by any product or service provided by Pawrents. You attend events and participate in conversations with others completely at your own risk, just as you would visit the dog park without Pawrents hosting an event there.
