We are running Dog-Sitting Swap Meetups in SF, East Bay, and South Bay. We help you connect with a local community of supportive dog parents. Enjoy the unconditional love of dogs without sacrificing freedom and ambitions


SAN FRANCISCO DOG EVENTS


August 28th, 2024 - 8K Bootcamp Run w/ Music

Location: Underdogs Cantina, King Street, San Francisco, CA, USA

Time: 6:30 PM

Come tear up the streets of San Francisco Wednesday evening with Midnight Runners. Our bootcamp style run allows everyone to challenge themselves to their own limits. We will run roughly 1 mile and then regroup for an exercise before taking off again! All paces are welcome; however, you should be comfortable running 5 miles. No one is left behind. The run is totally free, just bring some good vibes.

City Girls Who Walk SF is a walking club dedicated to community, new friendships, and exploring San Francisco once step at a time! Thursday, August 29, 5:30 pm – City Girls Who Walk SF Happy Hour!


August 31st, 2024 -Dog Days of Summer

Location: 200 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA

Time:  11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Dog Days of Summer is a monthly gathering to meet fellow dog lovers, brunch with your best friend outdoors, dance at the doggy disco, shop for unique pet products and themed goods, and enjoy even more furry fun.

Get ready for fun doggy competitions and prizes. Plus, indulge in delicious treats from food vendors at The Crossing and explore a range of pet-friendly products at our vendor booths.

Whether you have a furry friend or not, the Dog Days of Summer Event is open to all. So, grab your leash, put on your best smile, and come join us for a day filled with doggy delight.


September 1st, 2024 - SF Chihuahua Meetup

Location: Stern Grove Vale Ave · San Francisco, CA

Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Join us for the San Francisco Chihuahua Meetup!

We will meet at Stern Grove Dog Park from 12 noon until 2 pm. Lots of fun dogs and great people.

Feel free to bring your favorite food (savory or sweet) to the meetup!

There will be adoptable dogs from local rescue groups.


September 1st, 2024 - Head West Marketplace

Location: 1 Ferry Bulding, San Francisco, CA

Time:  11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We will meet at the top of the hill at 11:30 AM - we stay and socialize for about an hour and then take a walk sometime between 12:15 and 12:30 depending on how many Shih Tzus and people are there.



SOUTH BAY DOG EVENTS


August 26th, 2024 -National Dog Day

Location: 8000 Amador Valley Blvd, Dublin, California 94568

Time: All Day

Like we need an excuse to celebrate our furry friends! Bring your dog in for a day full of fun that’ll include an end-of-summer bubble party with some tasty frozen treats to make your pups feel extra special. Bubble party is included with daycare, we just ask for a donation of $4 to the foundation for the treats!

Location: Basketball | Lick Mill Park - 4750 Lick Mill Blvd · Santa Clara, CA

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Casual walk to stretch out the legs for both your and your pups after a long day at work (or snoozing in bed). This pack walk welcomes dogs with various temperaments including mild dog reactivity for you as an owner to work on advocating for your dog's space and boundaries while helping them build confidence around other dogs.


Location: Willow Street Frank Bramhall Park - 1320 Willow St · San Jose, CA

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Busy weekends or just want to get your pup out for a mid-week stroll with other small dogs? Join us for a short walk in the San Jose (Willow Glen) area.

The walk is simply a way for our dogs to warm up to one another and put their energy to good use.


August 29th, 2024 - Pobladors Night Market

Location: Parque de Los Pobladores 510 S 1st St, San Jose, CA 95113

Time: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Join us every Thursday for an unforgettable evening at #DTSJ’s weekly night market! Enjoy live music, artisan vendors, food trucks, and a beer garden at Parque de los Pobladores in the heart of #DTSJ’s SoFA District. Admission is free. See you there!


Location: Los Alamitos Creek Trail - Winfield Blvd, · San Jose, CA

Time: 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM

This is a 3.3 Miles r/t Pack Walk on relatively flat terrain in a Rural Environmnet (quiet with wildlife, cyclists, skate boarders, and other dog walkers) .

GSDs under 1 year of age are encouraged to turn back at the 1/2 mile marker to protect the dogs developing structure and musicales .

August 31st, 2024 -August Sniffspot Meetup

Location: Almaden Area Sniffspot 971 Dawnview Ct, San Jose, Ca

Time:  11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Where small, friendly dogs and their human families can get together and have fun play dates, share advice and friendship. This is a new sniffspot at a fenced in yard that is rented on the Sniffspot app. Sniffspot charges per dog/per hour so please indicate how many dogs you will be bringing as well as how many people will be attending. Note: The attendance limit on this event is for the dogs. So please indicate how many dogs by adding them as a quest and pay for that number.


September 1st, 2024 - Culture Night Market

Location: Rancho Del Pueblo Golf Course & Driving Range, 1649 Hermocilla Way, San Jose, CA

Time: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Grab your friends, family, and pets for a day full of culture, community, and youth empowerment! We'd love to see you all there!

September 1st, 2024 - Mini Cafe Dog Social

Location: 1190 Main Street Redwood City, CA

Time: 10:00 AM -2:00 PM

Welcome to the Mini Cafe Dog Social with Coffee and Ice Cream event! Bring your furry friends to our cozy cafe for a paw-some time. Let your pups mingle with other doggos while you enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee and treat yourself to some delicious ice cream. It's the perfect opportunity to relax, socialize, and spoil your four-legged companions. Don't miss out on this tail-wagging good time at Mini Cafe!


EAST BAY DOG EVENTS


Location: Seaview Trail Trailhead Near Grizzly Peak Boulevard & Loma Contadas Berkeley · Berkeley, CA

Time: 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM

The first half of this route is on open fire road with spectacular views of the Bay to the West and the Briones and San Pablo Reservoirs to the East. We finish on single track in the shade.

We will leave promptly at the start time and should be finished by 11:30am at the latest. If you run into trouble the morning of the hike, you can try to reach me at 510-390-5817, but many staging areas have poor cell service and I am likely to be unreachable 30 minutes prior to the hike.

HIKE RATING: Moderate, 8 miles, 1730 ft of climbing

HIKING PACE: 3 mph.


August 28th, 2024 - Martinez Wallk

Location: Willow Street Frank Bramhall Park - 1320 Willow St · San Jose, CA

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

EBGWW gathers for walks all over the East Bay with a mission and purpose to create a community and safe place for folks to make friend with others in their own neighborhoods through monthly walks. Dogs are allowed in our walks. The MARTINEZ WALK will be led by our volunteer @thetaylortime.


August 29th, 2024 -Dog Foster Open House

Location: 1101 29th Ave - Oakland, 94609 United States

Time: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Interested in learning more about fostering, or ready to pick up a foster dog? Our foster coordinators or volunteers will match you with a foster dog who is suitable for your household. Note that if you have a dog at home, or kids under 12, you have to bring them to meet your foster dog before taking the dog home.


August 31st, 2024 -Dog Adoption PupUp

Location: 3868 Piedmont Ave Oakland, CA

Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Join Oakland Animal Services and some of our awesome adoptable dogs at Pet Food Express from 3 to 5 p.m. Come by for chats and to meet some amazing pups. We’ll have information on our foster program in case you’re curious about fostering.
