We are running Dog-Sitting Swap Meetups in SF, East Bay, and South Bay. We help you connect with a local community of supportive dog parents. Enjoy the unconditional love of dogs without sacrificing freedom and ambitions


SAN FRANCISCO DOG EVENTS


July 13th, 2024 - Dog Sitting Swap Meetup SF

Location: San Francisco, Rincon Hill, San Francisco, CA, USA

Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Are you planning a trip soon and struggling to find an affordable and trusted dog sitter? We are here to help! We bring together at least 15 other dog parents, all of whom are busy working professionals, have a dog of similar size, and plan to travel in the next six months. This is a great chance to meet like-minded dog parents and explore the possibility of swapping dog-sitting duties.

Free pet food curbside pick up. Full Belly Bus mobile pet care team is committed to supporting San Francisco pet owners who are working to prevent and end their homelessness.


July 10th, 2024 - Weekly Fitness Classes

Location: Thrive City 1725 3rd St, San Francisco, CA

Time: 12:00 PM

Get ready to bring out your inner athlete and make your way to Thrive City to take part in our Weekly Fitness Classes presented by Kaiser Permanente. These classes are open to all levels, no matter where you are in your wellness journey. RSVP while supplies last. All Pets^ on a leash

Come out to Thrive City for the California Classic Fan Fest on July 6th and 7th! Take part in multiple fan-friendly activities including live entertainment, carnival games, balloon artists, a magician, and more! California Classic Fan Fests are free and open to the public.

July 12th, 2024 -5k Midnight Party Run

Location: Chief Sullivan's, Green Street, San Francisco, CA,

Time: 11:00 PM

To celebrate our global community, all 18 Midnight Runners cities will be running at midnight local time! We will run into the night on Friday and light up the streets of North Beach. This is our bootcamp style run that allows everyone to challenge themselves to their own limits. All paces are welcome. No one is left behind - but the bar space is limited to 200. All are welcome for the run! Run is totally free, just bring good vibes.

Please come to our local French Bulldog Meetup where you'll meet friendly Frenchie's and their owners. This group is safe space for Frenchie's and their humans to get together for socialization and exercise.


July 14th, 2024 -Basenji Monthly Meetup

Location: Upper Douglass Dog Play Area

Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Basenjis owners in SF, let's meet up here in the city once a month! A group for Basenjis and their humans to socialize and play in a local park. Meeting second Sunday monthly from 1pm--3pm at Upper Douglass Dog Play Area. It’s a fenced in dog park on the corner of 27th and Douglass streets.


SOUTH BAY DOG EVENTS


Location: Sunnyvale, Sunnyvale, CA, USA

Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Casual walk to stretch out the legs for both your and your pups after a long day at work (or snoozing in bed). This pack walk welcomes dogs with various temperaments including mild dog reactivity for you as an owner to work on advocating for your dog's space and boundaries while helping them build confidence around other dogs.


Location: Martial Cottle Park - 391 Chynoweth Ave · San Jose , CA

Time: 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM

This Pack Walk is ~ 3.0 miles in length on a flat Paved Surface offering little shade, but drinking fountains in two places.

GSDs one year or younger are encouraged to turn around at the 1/2 mile mark to prevent damage to developing bones, joints and muscles of the pups!


Location: Willow Street Frank Bramhall Park - 1320 Willow St · San Jose, CA

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Busy weekends or just want to get your pup out for a mid-week stroll with other small dogs? Join us for a short walk in the San Jose (Willow Glen) area.

The walk is simply a way for our dogs to warm up to one another and put their energy to good use. 


July 13th, 2024 - Amazing Dogs Adoption Event

Location: Aliso Viejo PetSmart - 26761 Aliso Creek Rd

Time: 11:00 AM -1:00 PM

Come to the Amazing Dogs Adoption Event to bring your new doggies home. You can meet them first online, reserve them and bring them home at the event.


July 13th, 2024 - South Bay Chihuahua Meetup

Location: City of Milpitas Dog Park at Ed Levin, Tularcitos Trail · Milpitas, CA

Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Come out and enjoy an afternoon at the dog park with the chihuahuas! Your chi just wants to run and play with their pals. Our meetup is FREE for all, friendly & informal. A great opportunity for your furry, four-legged friend to socialize with dogs just their size. Remember, if you'd like to sit bring along a chair. Please be considerate and always pick up your doggie's doo.


July 14th, 2024 - Doga

Location: Pup Plaza - 14408 Union Ave · San Jose, CA

Time: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Your Doga instructor will guide you and your pup through a 60-minute yoga practice and provide moments throughout the class for you to bond, reward, and breathe with your dog. Proceeds from activities at Pup Plaza support Silicon Valley Pet Project's (SVPP) life-saving work.


EAST BAY DOG EVENTS


Location: Alameda, Alameda

Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

This is a great chance to meet like-minded dog parents and explore the possibility of swapping dog-sitting duties.


Location: Richard C. Trudeau Conference Center - 11500 Skyline Blvd · Oakland, CA

Time: 8:15 AM - 10:15 AM

We will stay in the shade in the reliably cool and shady parks in Oakland starting at the Trudeau staging Area. We will leave promptly at the start time and should be finished no larer than 11:15am. If you run into trouble the morning of the hike, you can try to reach me at 510-390-5817, but many staging areas have poor cell service and I am likely to be unreachable 30 minutes prior to the hike.

HIKE RATING: Moderate, 8.5 miles, 1200 ft of climbing.


July 10th, 2024 - Walnut Creek Walk

Location: Heather Farms

Time: 6:00 PM

EBGWW gathers for walks all over the East Bay with a mission and purpose to create a community and safe place for folks to make friend with others in their own neighborhoods through monthly walks. Dogs are allowed in our walks.


July 11th, 2024 -Dog Foster Open House

Location: 1101 29th Ave - Oakland, 94609 United States

Time: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Interested in learning more about fostering, or ready to pick up a foster dog? Our foster coordinators or volunteers will match you with a foster dog who is suitable for your household. Note that if you have a dog at home, or kids under 12, you have to bring them to meet your foster dog before taking the dog home.


July 13th, 2024 - Free Pet Vaccine Clinic

Location: Antioch Animal Services - 300 L Street Antioch, CA

Time: 8:00 AM

Joybound offers free, monthly pet vaccine clinics, held at various locations in Contra Costa County. Pet vaccinations are an extremely important part of their health and wellbeing. By teaching your pet’s immune system how to recognize and fight off diseases, they can prevent or lessen the severity of illnesses.


July 13th, 2024 - Richmond Walk

July 13th, 2024 - Adopt Adorable Dogs

Location: 6960 Amador Plaza Road Dublin, CA 94568

Time:  10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Meet foster dogs available for adoption! Our dogs live in homes with Tri-Valley Animal Rescue volunteers where they receive loving care, socialization and training.


July 13th, 2024 - Head West Marketplace

Location: 1717 Fourth Street, Berkeley, CA

Time:  11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 HEAD WEST is a Local Outdoor Marketplace of Makers, Merchants, Crafters, Designers + Artists rooted in the Bay Area of Northern California.


Note: All outdoor venues are kid + pet friendly, with ADA Accessible entrances and maintained portable/public restrooms for use.


July 14th, 2024 -Lafayette Walk

Location: Lafayette Reservoir

Time: 11:00 AM

Location: 3561 Foothill Blvd., Oakland

Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

We are excited to announce that we will be offering monthly community outreach clinics at our Rocket Dog Urban Sanctuary in Oakland. We will see pets on a first-come, first-served basis. We will be providing core vaccines for our local community cats and dogs. We will, also, be offering other essential treatments for a nominal fee.


July 14th, 2024 - Dog Adoption PupUp

Location: 3629 Martin Luther King Jr Way Oakland, CA

Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Join Oakland Animal Services and some of our awesome adoptable dogs at Humble Sea Brewing Co. from 3 to 5 p.m. Come by for brews, chats, and to meet some amazing pups. We’ll have information on our foster program in case you’re curious about fostering.
