Rocket Dog Rescue is partnering with Hawk Creek Farm and Golden Bridges Aftercare for one incredible event! Not only will we have dogs to adopt and foster, but there will be a plant sale to benefit us!

We are celebrating Pride Month this week! Midnight Runners celebrates all aspects of our identities, so come as you are and get dressed up in any way that is authentic to you!

BE YOU BE TRUE! 🌈Rainbow attire encouraged! Pick your favorite color of the rainbow and bring some good vibes! Come tear up the streets of San Francisco Wednesday evening with Midnight Runners.

City Girls Who Walk SF is a walking club dedicated to community, new friendships, and exploring San Francisco once step at a time!

It’s Pride weekend y’all and what better way to kick off the weekend before the parade than at Crissy Field!

The Park Market is returning for it’s second year of featuring local makers, food and drinks, games, live music, and family friendly activities (like paddleboarding lessons from Dogpatch Paddle), and health and wellness classes (offered by Bayview Hunters Point YMCA) at Crane Cove Park.

The San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebration June 29-30 are FREE to attend, but there are many ways to make your Pride Weekend extra special and support the San Francisco Pride organization this year!

June 30th, 2024 - Weekly Fitness Classes

Get ready to bring out your inner athlete and make your way to Thrive City to take part in our Weekly Fitness Classes presented by Kaiser Permanente. These classes are open to all levels, no matter where you are in your wellness journey. RSVP while supplies last. All Pets^ on a leash


Casual walk to stretch out the legs for both your and your pups after a long day at work (or snoozing in bed). This pack walk welcomes dogs with various temperaments including mild dog reactivity for you as an owner to work on advocating for your dog's space and boundaries while helping them build confidence around other dogs.

This Pack Walk is ~ 3.0 miles in length on a flat Paved Surface offering little shade, but drinking fountains in two places.

GSDs one year or younger are encouraged to turn around at the 1/2 mile mark to prevent damage to developing bones, joints and muscles of the pups!

Busy weekends or just want to get your pup out for a mid-week stroll with other small dogs? Join us for a short walk in the San Jose (Willow Glen) area.

The walk is simply a way for our dogs to warm up to one another and put their energy to good use. 

June 29th, 2024 - Dog Adoption Event

Come meet dogs available for adoption in a relaxed fun environment at Pup Plaza on Saturday. Not yet ready to adopt, or have questions about the ideal dog for you and your family? Stop by during our adoption events and chat with us about what you are looking for, and we can provide some pointers and great resources to find that perfect canine companion for you!

June 29th, 2024 - June Rat Terrier Meetup

A gathering of RAT TERRIERS - Deckers, Standards, Mini’s + furiends located in the Bay Area but also welcome to visiting RT’s from NorCal, the Central Valley, SoCal & beyond! Our goal is to let RATTIES do what RATTIES do together and for their humans to connect and socialize. Join us for a short pack walk, followed by some off-leash fun!

June 29th, 2024 - Amazing Dogs Adoption Event

Come to the Amazing Dogs Adoption Event to bring your new doggies home. You can meet them first online, reserve them and bring them home at the event.


This route is a combination of single-track and fire-road and brings us into the northern end of the park on the West and East Ridge Trails, then way down into the canyon on our return.

HIKE RATING: Moderate, 8+ miles, 1380 ft of climbing.

June 27th, 2024 - Dog Foster Open House

Interested in learning more about fostering, or ready to pick up a foster dog?  Our foster coordinators or volunteers will match you with a foster dog who is suitable for your household. Note that if you have a dog at home, or kids under 12, you have to bring them to meet your foster dog before taking the dog home.

June 29th, 2024 - Joybound Mobile adoptions

During your visit, we will share information about the animal’s health, behavior, and the post-adoption resources we offer. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. The availability of particular animals cannot be guaranteed.

June 29th, 2024 - Dog Days of Summer

Come join us at the Hayward Sun Gallery for a fun-filled day celebrating our furry friends. Get ready for a tail-wagging good time!

Bring your pups and enjoy activities like assembling your own DIY Pup Cup, making a custom dog tag, taking a photo of you and your pet to take home, and making an upcycled dog tug! We will have pet-related vendors, Bark-cuterie boards for your dogs, snow cones and a food truck for attendees, and a doggie water feature for your pups to cool off in.

June 29th, 2024 - Dog Days of Faction

Mark your calendars for June 29th and get ready for a day of fun at the Dog Days of Faction event! We’re bringing together amazing vendors, adorable adoptable dogs, and exciting activities. Highlights include a doggie Pride Parade, a raffle with fantastic prizes, and a silent auction. Plus, enjoy delicious brews and support Hair of the Dog Rescue. Don’t miss out—come join the pawty!

June 30th, 2024 - Pups for Pride

Bring your well-dressed pups to a fun event at the Martinez Dog Park on Sunday, June 30th, 10-11:30am! Join us for a cuteness overload as Martinez canine residents (and their humans) dress up and put on a pup-sized Pride parade around the Dog Park. Doggie swag bags and a Best Dressed Contest are included in the event!

Meet other SF Bay Area Basenjis and their best friends monthly at Point Isabel Regional Shoreline, the largest public off-leash dog park in the nation. Come and join us to share in the joys of being Basenji owners, and even some of the not so joyful moments.

Dogs and their families are invited to come together for an easy walk, wiggle, dance, and sashay around the block to celebrate love and raise funds for Berkeley Humane!

The parade around the block is free to participate and festive costumes for people and pets are encouraged. Vendors include food and other pet related businesses.

June  30th, 2024 - East Bay Hike - Dog Friendly

Discover this 3.5-mile loop trail near Oakland, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 35 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Join us for for our 9yr Anniversary as we bring out my man Stacy Kidd from Chicago an LA favorite mister Tony Powell along with with local all stars Dedan & Oscar. Definitely get your dancing shoes ready as it's going to be another day full of amazing house music. Hope to see you there!!
